Reviews
Expensive, but really good. Recommended if you are staying somewhere near.
It is, and has been for a very long time, the best confectionary in Warsaw. Period.
Super
Expensive? Yes. Delicious? Yeeeees!
I have been buying baked goods from Lukullus for years. Classic poppy seed cake, Ćwierciakiewiczowa's babka, or more modern "mousse" cakes, basil ice cream (!) are great. However, recently the quality, at least of the filling of the rose donuts, has been problematic - leaking rose-flavored jam, not rose. I hope it's just a one off thing?
I think that buns for PLN 13 are a bit too much. There is no room here for stories about vanilla from Madagascar... today the bottom fell off because there was mainly air inside, you can count the currants on the fingers of one hand. Biarritz returned after the season two storeys lower, it's terribly sad that people who are so successful, also financially, go in the same direction as Januszexy, less and less for more and more expensive. Only fancy SUVs from outside Bielany park in front of the confectionery shop, barely fitting into the Bielany street. And yes, of course I can go to another bakery, but it's a big local loss for me... The people selling are still wonderful, extremely polite!
Not cheap. Very tasty.
Love it!
